Paul Rai - Technical Director/Men's Coaching Director/ Coach
Paul brings extensive lacrosse experience to the Edmonton Razorbacks. As a coach, Paul has coached teams at all levels of lacrosse, from elementary-school-aged players to Junior A men’s teams. He has led Team Alberta box and field lacrosse teams to the Canadian national championships on multiple occasions. Certified to coach both men’s and women’s field lacrosse, Paul has served as a coach in both disciplines of the field game at tournaments across Canada and the United States. He dedicates hours of time to coaching minor lacrosse teams across the Edmonton area.
Paul is passionate about lacrosse and has introduced hundreds of athletes to the game. In his role as the Director, Vimy Lacrosse (Vimy Ridge Academy, Edmonton, AB), Paul created a unique development model for junior and senior high student-athletes interested in combining academics with field and box lacrosse development within the Edmonton Public School Board. Under Paul’s direction, Vimy Lacrosse’s growth as a program exceeded 1000% growth in 11 years.
Paul is an NCCP-certified coach clinician for both men’s and women’s field lacrosse.
Paul’s lacrosse experience started over 30 years ago with the Gold Bar Miners, which transformed into today’s Edmonton Miners Club. He played his minor lacrosse with Gold Bar Miners and traveled to many national championships with the organization. As an adult, he played Senior lacrosse with the Miners, and then with the Edmonton Outlaws where he was the player/coach of the 2002 Presidents Cup National Champions.
Paul attended Dartmouth College (DI NCAA) and played four years of Division I hockey for the Big Green. His experience at Dartmouth taught him about the skills required to be a successful student-athlete; information he graciously shares with athletes interested in pursuing lacrosse in college.
Paul currently serves as the Head Coach for Team Alberta U17 Men's Field Lacrosse.
Ethan Forgrave - Coach
Ethan is a graduate of McGill University where he played varsity lacrosse. He was selected by the Edmonton Rush in the 2022 NLL draft. Ethan is a graduate of Vimy Lacrosse who has played for Team Alberta Box Lacrosse and Field Lacrosse. He currently serves as an Assistant Coach for Team Alberta U17 Men's Field Lacrosse.
Maurice Kelly - Coach
Maurice Kelly is a graduate of Chestnut Hill University (NCAA DII) where he played for the Griffins before returning to Alberta. Maurice is a graduate of Vimy Lacrosse who currently serves as an Assistant Coach for Team Alberta U17 Men's Field Lacrosse.
Dallyn Rai - Coach
Dallayn Rai is a graduate of the Choate Rosemary Hall School (Wallingford, CT) who brings more than 15 years of experience in lacrosse to the Edmonton Razorbacks. Dallyn has played for Robert Morris University (DII NCAA), and both Team Alberta Box Lacrosse and Field Lacrosse. He is a graduate of Vimy Lacrosse.
Sarah Lehman - Director, Girls Lacrosse Programming/Head Coach
Coach Sarah Lehman (née Oor) is an accomplished coach who has worked with the Razorbacks for many years. She is also an instructor in the women’s field lacrosse program at Edmonton’s Vimy Ridge Academy. Her wealth of experience and expertise is a valuable asset to the Edmonton Razorbacks Lacrosse Club.
As a player, Sarah was a member of Team Canada’s U19 team where she was named Team Captain and led her team to a bronze medal in the 2011 World Cup in Hanover, Germany. Sarah was also a standout at Limestone College in South Carolina, where she amassed a very lengthy list of career honors for her leadership and skill on the field, including being named an All-American in both 2013 and 2014.
As a coach, Sarah has worked with Lacrosse Wales and Lacrosse UK and served as the Women’s Field Lacrosse Coach at the Godolphin Preparatory School in Salisbury, UK. She has served as the Head Coach of Team Alberta’s U19 women’s field lacrosse team on several occasions (2017, 2018, 2022). She has also coached for North Strong Lacrosse, Apex Lacrosse, and the St. Albert Drillers.

Britannie Ouimet - Coach
Coach Britannie Ouimet brings a wealth of experience to the role of assistant coach for Team Alberta. As a player, she was a two-time member of Team Alberta Box Lacrosse and a silver medalist at the 2015 Canadian Box Lacrosse Nationals.

Jenny Bates - Coach
Jenny Bates is a graduate of Newberry College (DII NCAA) and Vimy Lacrosse. Jenny has played for Tiffin University (DII NCAA) as well as both Team Alberta Box Lacrosse and Team Alberta Women's Field Lacrosse. She has coached for the Razorbacks for 5 years.
Eve Hrizuk - Coach
Eve Hritzuk is a graduate of Northwestern University (DI NCAA) and Vimy Lacrosse. Eve has played for the University of Colorado (DI NCAA) as well as Team Canada Women's Field Lacrosse and Team Alberta Women's Field Lacrosse. She has coached for the Razorbacks for 5 years.
Emma Jobs - Coach
Emma is a senior at Newberry College (DII NCAA) and a graduate of Vimy Lacrosse. Emma has played for California Lutheran University (DIII NCAA) as well as both Team Alberta Box Lacrosse and Team Alberta Women's Field Lacrosse. She has coached for the Razorbacks for 2 years.
Reese Jones - Coach
Reese is a senior at Gardner-Webb University (DI NCAA) and a graduate of Vimy Lacrosse. Reese has played for both Team Alberta Box Lacrosse and Team Alberta Women's Field Lacrosse. She has coached for the Razorbacks for 5 years.
Jev Ward - Coach
Jev Ward is a graduate of Dartmouth College (DI NCAA) and Vimy Lacrosse. Jev has played for both Team Alberta Box Lacrosse and Team Alberta Women's Field Lacrosse. She has coached for the Razorbacks for 2 years.
The Edmonton Razorbacks Lacrosse Club believes in growing the game and helping youth and young adults develop strong leadership skills. Our coaching staff also includes coaches in training. Our coaches in training work under the supervision of our senior coaches to inspire the athletes that they work with.
