Determining Residence
New for 2025, the Alberta Field Lacrosse Association has updated the boundaries for the Edmonton area, and all players, from all parts of the metro-Edmonton area, can register directly with Razorbacks!
The boundaries for Member Clubs of AFLA are as defined in Appendix A of AFLA regulations.
A player shall be deemed for the purpose of registration to reside in the territory of the Member Club in which his/her parents or legal guardian has their legal residence.
Accepted documentation is:
i. Property tax bill where the primary residency grant has been claimed
ii. Hydro bill
iii. Gas Bill
iv. Cable or satellite bill
b. If none of the above documents can be provided because the parent/guardian rents and does not pay utilities, then the following shall apply:
i. A letter from the Landlord verifying rental agreement
ii. Driver's License or other government-issued ID with current address
Grandfathering
All clubs will grandfather players and their immediate family who reside in the same household when they are continuously registered, if requested.
