Alberta Field Lacrosse Association (AFLA) - Field Day Dates - 2024 Season

The Alberta Field Lacrosse Association (AFLA) is the local governing body for sanctioned field lacrosse in Alberta. Each year AFLA hosts a number of field day tournaments that bring players from all of Alberta's field lacrosse clubs together to complete and have fun.

For the 2024 field lacrosse season, AFLA has TENTATIVELY scheduled field days for the following dates:

July 27 and 27
August 10 and 11
August 24 and August 25

Each division plays on only one of the days on each field day weekend - either Saturday or Sunday but not both.

The schedule for AFLA's 2023 field days will be released to AFLA member clubs as soon as it becomes available. Member clubs will share this information with players and parents.

Field locations for AFLA's field days will be announced by AFLA in June 2024.

AFLA also plans to offer a North versus South All-Star Weekend for players in the Men’s U15-U17 and Female U15-U19 divisions on September 7 and September 8. Additional information will be released by AFLA later in the 2024 season.

The Edmonton Razorbacks Lacrosse Club was established in 2009 to support grassroots field lacrosse development. Our players have gone on to represent Alberta on Team Alberta (women's field and men's field) as well as Team Canada. You can find Razorbacks alumni playing lacrosse in the NCAA, the CIS/U Sports, and the NLL.

We believe in grassroots player development and diversity, equity, and inclusion are at the core of who we are. We welcome players of all ages and abilities. Our programs build a strong foundation in basic lacrosse skills and advance players to understanding lacrosse systems and competitive gameplay. We emphasize teamwork, collaboration and encourage a passion for field lacrosse.

The Edmonton Razorbacks Lacrosse Club is a member of the Alberta Field Lacrosse Association (AFLA) and the Alberta Lacrosse Association (ALA).
